Thanks for watching! Which is your preference - blow out method or antifreeze only?

Dunno.... this is my first winter but here in Texas it only freezes once in a while and the people I bought my 2010 Jayco 806 from never did any winterizing on it.

I believe I waited too long to winterize. We just got back from the Ozarks, 6 " of snow and temps in the upper 20°F. I attached my brand new water pressure valve and water filter. Turned the spigot on and my hot water handle in the shower blew off. I also have what appears to be a water leak from my bathroom pouring out on top of my black water tank. It didn't ruin our trip though.

Thanks for making these videos. I don't care if you've "already made one", there's always more to learn and share, as well as difference in makes and models. I watch every video you put out and have even used your affiliate links to purchase somethings. I've learned a lot watching. Keep it up! 👍 I'd be interested in seeing how you setup and take care of your work space.

You're putting the pop up to sleep, and I'm just waking mine up!! I've got a video going up today that's getting ready for my camping season! lol

Just because it’s winterized doesn’t mean it has to be put to sleep - lol.

Perfect timing for this video. Bought our first pop up in California and want to take it back home to visit in Colorado.

I actually blew out my lines and put anti freeze in it a few years ago, but recently started camping again this year and haven't hooked up a water hose to it. We just bring bottled water to drink and cook with. I did my friends new pop up with the blow out method.

I thought I'd heard somewhere that you should *never* touch the lever on the water heater pressure relief valve. 🤔 Instead, I drained the water lines first then left the hot and cold faucet handles on to relieve the hot water tank pressure while draining it.

I swear... less than one minute before you said it...I'd paused the video and I was having a discussion about people saying "HOT water heater" with a coworker. Great minds.... 😄

We have a water purification filter under our sink. Because of that, do we need one attached to the campsite water supply?

9:06 Hello there. I’m not sure if you might have a suggestion for me. I have a Jayco popup and completed all of the steps matching yours until this point. But when I turned on the water pump, nothing happens. It’s not pulling antifreeze from the gallon. I checked the breaker and fuse, and all is good. I’m stumped.

Would you mind telling me what year your jayco is and roughly how much you have put into it cost wise? I’d love to do what you have done but haven’t a clue what it would cost. Thank you. Great videos

It’s a 2008. Probably have $6500 into it, but pop up prices have been pretty crazy these last few years and largely depend on location, time of year and condition of the pop up.
