I was stressy about this months bad conversion rates, I'm feeling better. Organic sales are still ahead of ad costs, even if its just a few dollars its a start! Thanks for your open honesty, and all you do. I'm learning that so many people sound competent, but don't show current, real data.

Thanks Chris - another great bucket of knowledge. The data generated by campaigns is clearly a valuable resource. The many moving parts in the KDP game can be daunting starting out, however your videos definitely showing me how to keep things in perspective while making gains if you plan carefully, don’t bullshit yourself and just keep at it. I’m at a point now where I’ve watch too many videos in the endless pit of KDP, drop-shipping, affiliate marketing channels and am settling here for now as its about the most straight forward no bs presentation of facts, facts being the catch phrase for anyone looking to invest time into the Myriad of “u”tube videos that are over-saturating the sphere. Thanks, support this channel people!

Thank you so much for this content! I tried it on my latest book and I can already see the difference, only a few days later. The way I can tell that it’s working is that my automatic campaigns for the other books I have really don’t get much traction. Probably because I was missing the right keywords. The book I tried this with is already getting organic sales and the automatic ad campaign is performing well, as compared to my other books which only perform well with the more expensive, manual keywords. I wish I’d known this sooner or that I could go back and change my titles and subtitles for my other books. But moving forward, I will be using your technique from now on. Thank you!

🎯 Key Takeaways for quick navigation: 00:14 *Set up your book correctly from day one to get short-term and long-term visibility using a simple keyword list.* 01:50 *Setting things up from the start saves money, gets you ranked faster, and for better search terms.* 02:47 *To get short-term visibility, start with a seed keyword that is slightly niched down from the broad niche and use it in your book title.* 05:45 *Within 2-3 sales, sometimes just 1 sale, your book will get bumped onto the first page for the seed keyword search term.* 07:38 *For long-term visibility, focus on putting search terms you eventually want to rank for in the subtitle. Create the subtitle using combinations of keywords.* 12:46 *If you set things up targeting your book from day one, you can get a lower cost per click, rank quickly, and achieve long-term visibility using just automatic campaigns.* 17:31 *Create a keyword list to paint a bigger picture of your book for Amazon. It helps get more rankings, lower cost per click, and allows running just auto ads successfully.* 21:38 *Use remaining keywords from your list in backend keywords and sprinkle them through your description. Amazon takes note of them.* 23:44 *The strategies discussed revolve around low and medium content books priced around $6.99-$8.99. The goal is to get organic sales by gaining visibility.* Made with HARPA AI

I'm filling in my 7 back end slots for keywords. One slot I plan on using a short phrase. A couple of those words are in my title/subtitle. Is this allowed or not worth it? Or should I just leave it as a single work?

Hi! I’ve seen many people advising this on youtube, to use keywords for the title and subtitle, but then in the KDP forums you see lots of posts that say their books have been blocked because they did that, and the people on the forums tell them that they shouldn’t have done that and that they might even get their accounts terminated if they persist on doing it. So how can that be? I’ve never seen anybody on youtube talking about these blockings…

good vid, thank you for sharing. As per your example 'journal for woman with prompts, if it had a few things to do say journalling and colouring - an example title Journal and color subtitle a guided coloring prompt journal for woman ... would it be better to have the words from the subtitle be in the title instead of the subititle? - or it doesnt' matter where the words are as long as they are in both title and subtitle,. (there are always different ideas that even if in ketwords as long as the words are there they could be used in different examples).. thanks for any advise.

Hey Chris, great video as always. I have a question, hopefully you see this and answer. Do you just use the main search terms as your title and put other relevant keywords in the subtitle? For example, let's say I'm targeting the search term "word search for kids ages 6-8", and I create a shaped word search book. I know "shaped word search for kids ages 6-8" doesn't have enough traffic going to it, but the main search term does. So, is it better put Shaped Word Search For Kids Ages 6-8 as the title or just use the keyword Shaped in the subtitle?
@ChrisRaydog
8 ай бұрын
Yeah, would definitely do what you are thinking -- your thought process is spot on. People aren't searching for it, but they probably want it still - so I'd have the shape related keywords in the subtitle

@@ChrisRaydog thanks for replying. I've tried KDP before, but stopped midway. Your channel helped me made up my mind to be serious about this in the long term. I started again in October 2023, and has kept at it until now. What you said about quantity over quality is so true. I've learned so much by just publishing a bunch of books in the same broad niche (what works and doesn't).

@@ChrisRaydog mostly through ads. I had few organic sales for 2 of my earlier books (published in October) in November and December, but then none starting from last week of December. But, 3 of my most recent books are showing promising numbers from ads (much better than my earlier books) and are ranking on first page for my main keywords. 2 of them I published after watching your last video of 2023, so I implemented your advice about building the keywords list. The data I'm getting from ads so far is definitely better than my earlier books.

I published a book about a year ago, and sales are stagnant. In your opinion, is it better to adjust the title, subtitle, and keywords following your logic, or is it better to delete the book and republish it already with the optimized title and subtitle?
