In almost no time at all I was able to flip my Tre flips perfectly, what's more I was landing even with the bolts every time, yet I absolutely couldn't figure out why I wasn't landing them until my buddy told me I wasn't keeping my shoulders straight like you would on a kickflip. It was the single most important trick tip I ever got. In a week or two I was probably more consistent with them than any other trick. The felt amazing

I heard somewhere that a helpful trick for tre flips is to hang your back foot off the board a little further than what feels natural to you. It helped me immensely with getting them to be consistent. Like, hang your back toes right off the board, it helps the scoop.

Tre flips had stumped me for years! Until I switch to a shorter wheelbase board then I started being able to land them consistently which then transferred to bigger longer setups

Jumping/leaning forward is probably the most important thing I'd say... i was really pretty good at skating and these would always drift out in front of me. Could flip them prefect every time- but rarely landed them. You really gotta get your body in front and ahead of the board (at least how i flipped them).

Does having bigger wheels perform better? I had two boards. One rolled like it had a bunch of cat hair stuck in it. The other, also a walmart board but meant for teens, I couldnt just walk onto the board, I had to have my front foot ancored ( right foot as Im a lefty ) or it would roll away from me.

Most people have a hard time standing and want to move straight into tricks, that’s the problem with people trying to learn skateboarding at this day and age. No one new knows what it means to wake up and use your board to get to school and literally just getting comfy on a board. It’s a lifestyle so treat it like one and tricks will come easier. (Dressing up and acting doesn’t cut it)
