I'm an Airstream owner and really like the idea behind this from a safety standpoint, but man it looks like a tight fit inside the Airstream gas bottle cover! I checked out the website and see that most people had to rotate their bottles sideways (and this looks possibly unsafe) in order to accommodate the longer stems and connector length. But most of those photos were with the rubber hose connectors. The ones in Brad's setup looks a little cleaner. Are the new braided hose connectors also shorter?

You are right that it is a tight fit under the propane cover. If you reuse regular propane hoses you can't get the cover to fit properly over the tanks. That's why we developed our Airstream Installation Kit. It includes 90-degree propane hoses, fittings, and instructions for installing GasStop in an Airstream. If you don't get the kit you'll still need to find the 90-degree hoses and fitting someplace. In answer to your question, the braided stainless hoses are not shorter; it's the 90-degree angle that makes it work under the cover. See more about the installation kit I mention here: www.airgear.store/products/gasstop-emergency-shut-off
