Interesting. Even if the string connects two individuals throughout; time & space. It does not mean there is a pull to bring both together, effectively eliminating them ever meeting. Fate can be infinitely disrupted and delayed, even through every rebirth.

Folklore also mentioned Yue Lao or Moon Man who carries a book of fate with the names of couples written in it. He would roam about at night and tie red strings of fate to couples who are destined to be together.

This myth originated in China, but it was eventually spread to other East Asian countries, Japan included. A notable difference between the Chinese and Japanese versions of the myth is that in China the string is tied at the ankle, while in Japan it is tied at the pinky.

Another one: The red string tells where your soulmate is on the other side, but if it points to the sky it means your soulmate is dead. You can try to kill urself but you can’t do that.

I agree, my husband and I never met till we met of course. And when we talk about life's circumstances, we see a lot of times when we definitely could have met and we grew up in different cities but each family was always trying to move to the same location around the same time.

2 divorces per 1000 couples. Some people still stay together even if they love each other anymore tho. Divorce is still seen as pretty taboo.

@@sreya_roy_peu_from_bangladesh. Everyone does, sometimes it just takes a long time. Don’t worry 💖 What’s important is appreciating every moment and every person you have, THAT’S love 🥰 you don’t need a bf/gf/husband/wife to have a soulmate or all the love you need in your life! That’s only one kind of love and there are many.
