In this video we look at 1 Corinthians 13 as our guide to what biblical love truly is, and ask the very challenging question: do you love your husband?
Oh and wives that have husbands being verbally abusive do need to seek a pastoral or Christian counselor’s help. The emotional pain actually does affect a person’s body long term, like depression and anxiety. Those are things that turn into physical symptoms. God provides help through other Christians as well :) I love these marriage videos Alana

The four loves by C.S. Lewis is a great read. It expresses the different type of loves scripture appeals to. God is love but we must remember love is not God. ❤️

Hi Alana I just wanted to say that I absolutely love your channel I just found it and I really thought contacted by this message today I think it speaks not only two marriages and relationships but just relationships in general with everyone around us including our families and neighbors and strangers and I’m so grateful for the Lord working through you because you are able to spread this message of love and truly convict us and make us realize things in our hearts that need to be changed in order to live out the will of God in our lives, not just for ourselves and our own fulfillment but for others so that when they see us, they see Christ Spirit in us and this can lead them to Christ. Praying blessings over you and your family, thank you for sharing this message and connecting with us through vulnerability/ transparency especially! May God bless you❤️

I think you are completely right about everything you said and I completely agree with almost everything you said..... However, it would be really hard to love someone the way you should if they do things like put you down all the time, speak to you hateful on a regular basis, and neglect you by not caring about your feelings and/or being sensitive and loving towards you and depending on the severity of it that very well is abuse it is not physical but if it is to the point where a woman or a man is having two walk on eggshells in their own home just try not to make another individual angry I believe that is a huge problem and I think if it gets that bad it would be hard for that individual to personally not sin and therefore I don't think the Lord would want them to continue staying in that situation because it would be impossible for a human being to deal with that for years day in and day out and not have resentment and Hate and not have a mental come apart

But I have found that as I've been honest with my husband as to where I am at and struggling with myself, he has given so much grace and encouragement and has made a huge difference in my struggles as a wife lately. Thank you for these uplifting videos.🌷

The Gemini woman as a wife: When it comes to marriage, Gemini women prefer to take things slowly. Since they simply love flirting with as many men as possible, they won’t want to hurry and get married at the first sign of love. They simply enjoy being admired by others and flirting around whenever they get the chance. Most of the time, they’ll manage to balance things in their romantic connections and their social life.

Harvey Wallbanger why are you talking about Gemini? I am a “Gemini” in the zodiac stuff, which is totally man made rubbing, aaaaand that description you gave could not be less like me. :-) still confused as to why you brought up Geminis.

Good stuff! Reminds me of the old song by John Paul Young 🎶 'Love is in the air, everywhere I look around Love is in the air, every sight and every sound And I don't know if I'm being foolish Don't know if I'm being wise But it's something that I must believe in And it's there when I look in your eyes...' 🎶♫ The world sings about love but it is often a counterfeit. The fuzzy lovey-dovey chocolate-box,, corny, drippy, fluffy, fruity,, gooey, love that is fleeting. I like what you said, love is a decision, a choice. Who could love perfectly... The type of love you are describing: the enduring sacrificial love that bears all things goes against the grain. It can only be achieved when we are walking in the Spirit. Love is a verb! ♡ TY4 causing me to examine my ♥ motivation.

Am I supposed to love someone who kills my dog or child (my enemy) and how would you describe what love would look for the murderer of my dog or child. Thanks in advance 😊. God loves everyone but it's confusing because he said he hated Esau, God killed people based on what I read in the Bible, and he's going to destroy the wicked....does God love the wicked, does he live those he created that killed Yeshua? Help please.
@AlanaL3

When God says he “hated “Esau it just means he did not choose Esau, he chose Jacob as the line to bring forth the promised one, Jesus. Just like when Jesus says we have to “hate” our mother, father, sister, brother and follow him. He simply means choose me over them, not literally hate them. We are called to love our enemies. Yes, we are to “love” someone who has wronged us. Not necessarily feel feelings of love and affection toward them, but action must exemplify love. I know that sounds super hard, but if we only love those who love us we are just like the world. We are set apart as Christ followers when we can love even our enemies as Jesus calls us to. The Holy Spirit can help us do this in a way that honors God. It will not be easy, but we have him as our helper. Hope this helps.

I like how you said separate instead of divorce when it comes to abuse. I see so many wives divorcing due to being abused. Its a horrible situation but still you're sinning for divorcing your husband. Separate for sure but try to work on your marriage from afar. God can move his heart :).
@stefaniemedina14

Sure, separate to be safe. But for how long? Some men are truly evil and will not change. A woman should not be remain married to a man who is abusing her and/or the children. To be honest, if my husband ever hit me, my dad would kill him so there is that, more men need to step up and protect their daughters and grandchildren.
@livingunashamed4869

@@stefaniemedina14 I'm just saying you have no biblical grounds for divorce. If I was a wife in this situation I would be safe of course but I would want God to change his heart no matter how long it takes. You vowed to love this man till death do us part :).
