It's the holidays and Whistler is super busy right now, even on poor weather days like we have here. In order to avoid crowds Kevin and I decided to go for a short hike off of Blackcomb Glacier and see if we could find some good snow, unfortunately the visibility deteriorated throughout the day but the snow was pretty nice and made for a good opportunity to see how well a snowboard will glide with fresh wax and no scrape. While you can get away without scraping, and there are some situations where it doesn't really make a difference, on a cold powdery day I would DEFINITELY recommend scraping your wax and it's probably a good habit for any day of riding. We still ended up having a great day, and found our way back to the ice cave which is always cool. Let me know your thoughts down below, thanks for watching.
