Love your channel! Sorry for any gramma error, english is not my language! So, you like broccoli and pasta? I have the perfect recipe for you! 2 diced onions 2 minced cloves of garlic 250 grs. chopped bacon or smoked ham or pancetta, whatever you like. 750 grs. broccoli 1 jar of tomato sauce 750 grs. dry noodles (spaghetti/mac 'n chesse type, whatever you like) 200 grs. cream. 200 grs. muzzarella cheese 150 grs. parmesan chesse 8 to 10 fresh basil leaves. Salt and Pepper to taste. -In a pot with salted water cook the pasta "al dente". -In a pan with olive oil cook the onions, garlic and bacon. At the end add the broccoli. Salt and pepper to taste. -In a baking dish (the one you use in the recipe of this video is perfect) put the cooked onion, garlic, bacon and boccoli. Press to form a compact layer. Add the tomato sauce over but don't mix it, just form a layer. -Mix the parmesan cheese in the cooked pasta before layering over the tomato sauce. -Pour the cream on top of the pasta. -Finally put the muzzarella chesse on top with the fresh basil leaves and more pepper. Take the baking dish to the oven for about 20 to 25 minutes. -Enjoy!

the white bathmat is pretty but it needs to be bigger its too small for that space. and if you want something natural looking to hold candles or any pretty bath assesories try getting one of those basket tray things they have basket material sides but a firm inside so you can carry wine or a snack in there. it would be sturdy enough and not too flamable for your candles. im loving the green on the sides of the tub area it really makes the white in the room pop.

I like the natural color added, I think it softens the area a bit and gives some much needed contrast. I also like the green, but if you are concerned about it being too much by the tub, get a bamboo small standing shelf to put on that wall to store extra bath items or decor and that will break up the green a bit. The mat on the floor does look a bit small, but that bathtub is big and I will say that it will be more practical to wash it at that size than something bigger. I definitely like the matte black idea on the lights. Just my thoughts. Thanks for another video, I always look forward to them.

I think you should get either a more textured white shower curtain, or one with green and white elements. I agree with the others, the mispainted wall fits the room beautifully. The mat under your Epsom salts jar is a nice touch! I do think you should have some additional brown elements (of the same shade as the vanity) in order to help tie it all together. Maybe smaller decorations or the window dressing?? Overall, you're creating a gorgeous space. 🥰😉

Place either a larger basket with flat bottom or wooden tray with the jar of Epsom salts, a larger candle or several (odd number) of bronze candle sticks and maybe a medium size vase of eucalyptus. 2. A larger bath mat in the same color and texture that you bought 3. Keep it painted green, it highlights the white trim work! Your ideas are great, just need some tweaks on scale! Hope this is helpful!❤️

I was thinking along the same lines. The current bathmat is not large enough for the scale of the tub area but the texture/design of it is very nice. The green "stripe" actually helps to distinguish the edge of the tub top & the floor. I have occasional depth perception issues (if there aren't distinct visual clues to guide me) and would likely trip over the edge trying to get in because I didn't gauge the height properly because of "too much" white. LOVE you decoration ideas about the items for around the tub deck!

Is anyone else watching Becky and remembering what it was like when they were pregnant and started nesting. I love your videos. I remember with my 2nd child, I had been on bed rest for 2 months(pre-eclampsia) I woke up one morning with an amazing burst of energy. I cleaned the entire house, including washing 4 loads of clothing, dusting, vacuuming and changing sheets on all the beds, then set up the nursery. Called my mom to let her know all was ready for the baby and I only had a month to go. She said," Babe, we will be there tomorrow. I have some shopping to do in the city." She told Dad they would need to be here 1st thing in the morning (a 3 1/2 hour drive) and they were there by 6am. That night I went into labor about 11 pm and didn't call her because I knew they always went to bed by 9. Thankfully Mom put more stock in a pregnancy "nesting" than she did in the doctor and they were both there for the birth of their last grandchild.

This will give you that nice natural element you’re looking for. Seconding the plant idea! I have always had pothos in my bathrooms and they thrive with very minimal care! Edit to add I also think the rug would be better if it was larger, but I know it can be tricky to find the right rug size! Also, with shower curtains you may need to untuck the outside so it doesn’t get wet when the shower is on. If you were going to leave it outside the tub I’d go for a longer lengthy in the front, but that makes it really tricky for the part that goes over the bench area. Lovely shower, but tricky to style!

Your bathroom is so beautiful. Some bathroom suggestions: I would keep the green, it looks really good. The bathmat is too small for that area but the color and texture is really pretty. I think that the black fixtures would look way better than chrome. Also, in that big area with the container, I would suggest a basket filled with guest towels or even a live plant. Either way, it will be beautiful no matter what you decide. Thanks for the content!

Shower idea: What about white window curtains? You might have to use four panels if I’m judging the size correctly. Window Curtains can be longer and because you have the liners it wouldn’t hurt the curtains. Tuck the liner in the tub and the curtains can hand out. I’m in love with your guest bath! The color is so beautiful and the vanity sink is gorgeous! I love the home you and Josh are making for yourselves! Thanks for sharing with us!!! ❤

Becky my 92-year-old dad and I are enjoying your channel so much. I have to say, when you stood up on the tub, I did yell, "Becky"! I love the color of that bathroom, and the idea of the vignette in the corner is great. You can use a woven tray with low sides, round or rectangular, depending on what you want to put in it. The canister for the bath salts and candle will be nice. You can also add some washcloths for your guests in there as well. I would keep the curtain pulled back on both sides towards the back of the tub, almost like framing a window, this way you can see the vignette and that beautiful green color when they walk in. Can't wait to see your next video.

Becky, I’m new here and also from the PNW, and I must tell you how refreshing it is to watch someone be so honestly “themself” and humble and kind, and trying to do their best to live intentionally and thoughtfully…And I could continue to add a few more and(s) to the list. These videos are a LOT of work. We only see a tiny portion of the work you are doing and none of the real messy moments and struggles you take on with repositioning the camera to capture our entertainment and feeling that we are there in the kitchen and elsewhere, following you around as a welcomed friend and guest in your home. Sometimes I feel like taking in a big long breath for you, letting it out slowly, just to relieve some of the exhaustion I feel for you, just watching you work. It’s no surprise that so many “Like and comment” on them. You are truly likable!!

I love the green in your bathroom! It's going to turn out so cute when you are all done. I agree the shower curtain should stay in the tub. A potted Eucalyptus plant in a pot next to the shower in that corner would be pretty and Eucalyptus in a bathroom is great for stress relief and respiratory health! Next to that you could have a pretty candle a little further down the ledge or maybe a cute little display basket with travel-sized toiletries like hotels have since it is your guest bathroom? That way if anyone forgets to bring something while staying over, you are all ready to go! The bath mat should be a bit longer I think just because of the design of the tub, but I agree the white one you got is a nice look and pattern! You could try checking out Target online as well if you are thinking of returning the one you have, because their website has many more options available than the store did, and if they give you store credit and you found one you like online, you can use it to get it there instead of being limited to what is at your target location. So excited for you your house design plans are starting to come together for you!

Hi Becky. Bathroom ideas feedback. I like the green on the bottom level. I think you might want a bigger rug or keep the rug as a bath mat hanging over the edge of the tub to put down when needed after a bath/ shower. Also putting a few towels and wash cloths at the back of tub area buy your canister gives your guest easily accessible stuff to use and adds to your decor. Maybe in a basket to match the placemat type thing? Your doing such a great job!

I was always taught to leave the shower curtain outside the tub to avoid it getting wet and growing mold, the lining stays inside the tub and you're supposed to air it out so it doesn't get moldy as well, you can also run it through the wash as well. :) I'm not sure how well that bath mat goes either lol, it's cute but doesn't really fit the bathroom.

Casseroles are great for that and only your imagination sets the rules! You know, learning to cook different meal in your own tasts means to experiment! Take macaroni/potatoes/rice, put it in a oven safe dish OR blend it with what you prefer; minced meat, rest bits from meat/chicken/fish and season with herbs, dried tomatoes, olives...what you like...salt & pepper. Of course everything taste better with cheese, like parmesan to chicken, dried tomatoes and oliv...pour a white souce or an egg cream over it and bake in the oven at 347-390 F, depending on your oven. Just remember not to store dishes with the carbonhydrates on top in the freezer for a long time, they get freezer burn quickly, my limit is 3-4 weeks. Cooking is FUN!

Nice progress on the bathroom! Those can be hard to decorate. My (many) opinions: - I think the bathmat is cute, but I think it's too small for the space. I think you need something ~ 50% longer than that. - I like the green! If you're concerned about things feeling too dark, you could lighten the room up with a white stencilled pattern along the ceiling or baseboard? Or just a single line of white? But I know that you're a strong minimalist, so that might feel too busy. - I'd consider a wooden tray for the bath salts. Teak works well in bathrooms, and will hold up better than something woven. (Though mildew is likely less of an issue where you are than it is here in FL!) Plus, a flat surface will be more stable for candleholders like the one you showed compared to a woven one. I think a triangle shape would be great in that spot if you could find one that echoes the shape of the room, or if you were cutting down one of those teak 'bathmats' to use. - For the tub, I'd go with just the cloth liner, if it's robust enough to keep water out of the main bathroom. If you're going to have a liner and a curtain, I think that it's odd to have the curtain inside of the tub at that length. (You then have 2 layers inside of the tub, and one of those layers is designed to not get wet - it means that you're left wondering where to put things when you're done taking a shower.) If you want to have 2 layers, I'd consider hemming the curtain so that it just skims the edge of the tub? I think that might look a little unusual, but I think it's the best 2-layer option. Because I agree with you - having it *outside* of the tub also looks weird, since the rim is so wide. Plus, it can't go outside of the full tub, so you're left with a kind of french tuck situation.
@amywright8355

Or have two liners in the tub with the opening at one end. Then have one curtain that hangs outside the tub. It will get mildew if it hangs inside. Id personally always leave the curtains open.
