@@deepfriedhorseradish Playing "loose" is better than "tight" when you are doing fast arrangements. It is why you typically see this type of "loose" style in a lot of blast beat type genres (brutal death, grindcore etc) and "tight" styles in thrash, power etc are dominant. It becomes how you arrange your music more than how you can play it and if you can play it. edit: of course, you have blast beats and fast arrangements in thrash, power etc bu generally speaking not as quick as brutal death, grindcore etc.

Man. I just feel like Grindcore drummers are just underrated as fuck. most Grindcore/DeathMetal drummers that reach certain skill in this genre are musically inclined and well thought whether it be traditional or self-thought. This guy right here plays jazz in some projects he is in. people who can't even begin to comprehend and understand this intense music form automatically retreat to the "it's just random noise" way of thinking. the fuck 😩😩

Flo’s hands can be faster in short bursts but he doesn’t seem to match Dobber in general endurance and “feel”, however Flo definitely has faster feet. His drumming is incredible but it feels much more mechanical than what we see from Dobber’s style.
