The guy that they cut in to pieces and got rid of in acid. Trump should have punished Saudi Arabia for that murder by cancelling the sale of weapons to them. Ofcourse he didn't because they payed him off via the Kushner investment. The drone strike on the US citizen was on a guy that had public professions for or involvement in terrorist plots. He publicly vocalized his support for attacks on Americans. He was believed to be an operational planner of terrorist plots. But I do agree that the US District court for DC shouldn't have punted twice on the fact that the US government doesn't need judicial review to target a citizen for death. But again I don't feel bad for this guy, he publicly in videos supported attacks on Americans and was suspected to be the rank of "regional commander" within al-Qaeda. The first time I ever saw a public board meeting room where the seats of elected officials were physically elevated above the citizens was about thirty years ago. It was a straight table set on a ten-inch platform. Nowadays the common model is to raise them up as much as five or six feet, put them in a wide arc, and create the impression of royalty. I wonder how much more control we could exert on our boards if we insisted that they sit on the floor and the people would sit above them, if everything was recorded from multiple angles, and if the people in attendance could vote at any time to change the rules and kick one of the board members out. The only downside of Democracy is that the people are often slow to action and elected officials take that as a sign of weakness rather than a fact they must acknowledge in their service to those people. They are servants, we are the owners of our common resources.
