Untreated strep throat can lead to systemic damage latently. A rheumatic fever, which inturn damages heart valves. An incompetant valve potentially causes blood clots to develop and eventually a stroke by an embolus.

Can lead to pneumonia, sepsis, kidney and other organ failure, toxic shock syndrome, necrotizing fasciitis ( can lead to limb amputation)….it’s quite dangerous

I Had strep. I gargled water and a quality grapefruit seed extract. Gargled 8ozs (about six gargles.) Within 5 minutes the relief that came was incredible. I continued this for 7 days after. I hope it works as well for you all.

@@katiedid1851 yes I sure did. What makes you say I didn’t? The throat swab came back as strep. Natural medicines are also an option. Worked for me wonderfully.
