What you can do (and what I did) was to pay for 1 month as there is a monthly payment option and use that as my trial. I have kept mine as you can wear it 24 x 7 and I like to wear different watches for different things so this gives a whole view. Another thing you missed was the Insights. When you answer the questions on what you did over the day, it will then tell you the positive and negative affect they have had on your sleep and recovery. Can't do that with a s/sheet.

Whoop is the best thing if you’re someone that likes to wear mechanical watches , if not go with garmin and you’re set to go

As far as I understand, the reasoning that you have to have your phone on you is incorrect. I asked support and the Whoop band stores up to 72 hours of your data even if you are not within distance of your phone, you simply just sync it with the app afterward.

And to follow up. Since the Whoop can auto detect your activities, you literally could just leave your phone at home. Go out for a run or bike ride, and when you sync with the app when you get home it just knows that's what you did.

It’s not that, it’s that without the phone you can’t access any of the data. I know the information will sync, but what about if I want to workout without my phone and see the metrics to change the intensity of workout?

@@Kiran.MorjariaThey def need to improve on the strength training aspect of it. I would prefer if I could enter strength training with say, 4 taps, and it just blinks and/or vibrates to tell me that I've entered strength training mode. To your point, they could probably allow you to increase/decrease intensity while in this mode with taps as well without ever having to look at your screen. Not sure how they would get past the hurdle of knowing WHAT exercise you were doing but I feel like limitations like that are understood when choosing something without a screen.

Whoop takes 30 days so this 30 day trial is pretty much useless
@Kiran.Morjaria

After around 7 days it has baseline data that it works from, agreed that it needs longer for most of the diary functions but for everything else it had calibrated. If you couldn't gain any insight from using it for a month, Whoop wouldn't offer a free 30 day trial

First off, this guy is wearing the whoop strap wrong in two ways. One, he is wearing it backwards. Second, he is wearing it too close to his hand. It is meant to be half an inch behind the wrist bone. Why would you trust a review when the reviewer can’t even wear it properly

Coros Vertix 2s. It's more durable, over a month of battery life, accurate heart rate and respiratory trackings, and on top of it all, it has a GPS and map tracking

Very helpful video (currently deciding between a Garmin and this one). Thanks Edit: Would love to see your impression on the Garmin Venu 3 with a doctor's perspective, especially since you've had experience with the Apple Watch - see how it compares

I confirm it's 100% a scam with fake support. The amazing thing is that plenty of famous podcasters are marketing the product. They hinder the return and still charge the credit card.

I dunno about that. I had it for two years and contacted customer service plenty of times with great success and satisfactory action. I only stopped using it bc I got tired of wearing two devices on my wrist.
