Because it was the end. Because we all knew that the laughter was dying, that our joy was running out, and that the final pages were near. We had one final adventure, gave one last hurray, in the hopes that it would be worth. That when we ended it maybe, just maybe, this one time it wouldn't hurt so bad. Because if we were going to be sad later, than we're going to have the best time we could have now.

Oh man Murray Gold’s soundtracks is just something else. Idk how he does it but his soundtracks are just magical, inspiring, powerful and the best music in all of music history. His music represents the true meaning of music! From the bottom of my heart, Murray Gold, the god of music will be missed!

"From the bottom of my heart, Murray Gold, the god of music will be missed!" Good God, man! Please be a little more careful with how you say things like that! Yes, he may have moved on from the Doctor to do other projects (and yes, he will be missed for that), but stating it the way you did had me scrambling to find out if he had died. [worse, since the google autofill WAS offering a link about the death of a Murray Gold*berg*]

So beautifully heartbreaking both because of the episode that it's featured, but 10's speaking of what the Time Lords where before the war. If your a fellow classic Who fan it just rips you apart emotionally.

This track, or one very similar, was used in The Doctor Falls, when (spoilers) Missy stabs the Master. It fits, if only because the leitmotif comes from "This is Gallifrey", which was originally used for another pair of time lords, and is especially associated with the moment when the Master let himself die after being shot, similar to how Missy killed her own past version.

An eternal loop... But... The Master now know that he will become a Timelady and be aware that he/she will be on the side of the Doctor at some point later on... Knowing that; Missy may never do the same things to get close to the Doctor. As now a Full Evil Missy she may complicated more the Doctor's life. She may avoid him as 12th and met her as 13th. To kill Yaz (She's not even French!) (Cool, i just wrote the beginning of a new episode...)

ok to all those who say that this is a variation of this is gallifrey, it isn't, it's achually a variation of the gallifrey track from the end of time (i know it is this track because i've listened to the track and is currently repeating said track in my head while listening to this track)

The track titled Gallifrey contains excerpts from This Is Gallifrey. The latter came first therefore this particular track is a variation on the aforementioned latter. This Is Gallifrey is one of Murray Gold's most famous pieces, and he likes to do many variations of it, including this one.
