I have experienced acne for a year. I began getting better by doing little things like using fresh towel and changing my pillowcase often. I use a gentle face wash from litttlextrra riiceberry which is pH balanced. Consistency has helped significantly. Now, I have an easy 3-step regimen that I use daily, and I'm gradually recovering. It has boosted my confidence. Let's be positive together!

For those of you saying that products are making your acne worse some thing that you probably don’t understand is that it actually takes three months from the time a pimple starts for it to make its way to the surface of the skin so when you start to use a treatment, it speeds up the process and it brings all of the pimples up to the surface of the skin fairly quickly. Don’t stop using the product then because you want all of the pimples that are underneath the skin line to come to the surface as soon as possible so that you can clear them up after that there shouldn’t be any pimples underneath the skin if it’s working do you have to give it enough time to clear the skin of the pimples that have already started underneath the skin

I understand that but how would you know if the products are actually working during the process? Because not every product would work for you depending on your skin type so what if your just using the product and it’s doing absolutely nothing and you use it for 3 months and still don’t see any progress with it

Anyone in their 30s with cystic acne and rosacea: I promise I spend thousands on every product and peel and ruined my protective barrier. I switched to a simple sulfur bar soap, a custom retin a formula (Curology) and CO2 laser treatments (2 over 2 years) my skin is perfect now. I was doing TOO MUCH before and if I could change anything it would be to keep it simple and invest in laser. My Skin is very sensitive and scarred easily- now my skin is so smooth and flawless. Please don’t use harsh products- if you can’t afford a dermatologist- get a subscription service who can recommend a custom blend so you’re not destroying your barrier and drying your skin out ❤

Idk what anyone says about proactive it's amazing and acne free (Walgreens sells it ) (CVS sells proactive but best to order online and keep making new accounts 😉 to get cheap ) but I have bad acne and this has eliminated my acne in a month !!!! I used proactive first then acne free .I still use it but my acne is gone basically and now I'm focused on my scars . I use a few things but vitamin c and philosophy clear days ahead spot treatment are making the scars go away . Like they have faded alot in 2 months . I also use another philosophy product I think salicylic acid spot treatment. The results I'm seeing makes all the money I spend well worth it !!! I've had acne my whole life and then it went away for about sending yours and now it's coming back and I just turned 36 yesterday actually and it's been back for a little bit but I've never had scars until my niece passed away in December so these scarves are only about 6 months old and I started treating them and they're fading a lot I feel so self-conscious about having acne scars on my face cuz I've never had them before but like I said these products are absolutely helping

Acne is always hormonal, firstly you might want to check with your care-giver that your hormones are balanced and in check.. I know the pill made me break out really bad but my friend'd acne was solved by it. Helping your skin with oil control is good because it's influenced by the hormones! Also retinoids might help! I can go on and on, there are 101 causes to hormonal acne and so 101 solutions 😢

Not sure if you reject the ACV for the face externally and if so I agree. However, if the ACV is taken internally in small amounts daily it provides one of the 3 big building blocks of a healthy gut microbiome. Apple cider vinegar provides Acetate which is a Short chain fatty acid. Taking SCFA's heals the gut lining and helps the gut make good bacteria. I didn't get this connection until I learned about this from my functional medicine doctor. Healthy gut = healthy skin.

Tea tree oil is great if your skin needs it! I have psoriasis and this is the ONLY thing that keeps it under control, paired with moisturizing. It is also useful at treating and preventing odor, jock itch, athletes foot… I use it in a body wash and shampoo and I was sold by just the minty smell!

Ahh i was using pure extract and it was too strong. What i ended up doing was soaking a qtip in water and then using less extract than usual, then using it as spot treatment on my pimples and scars. Worked great then, but i think some derms dont like it bc people use it pure and its too abrasive. Ur right to use it as a part of a different product!

Differin gel is one of the most effective over-the-counter acne treatments and usually costs less than $20 for the 30-day supply. Just keep in mind that it usually takes 3ish months for it to show a big improvement so the 90-day supply is better (but it costs around $30 or more)
