Meds can do it to you too! Especially psychotropic meds. Add autoimmune diseases and you create a "your asking for it", scenario.

or maybe more important is Crossfit is not a legitimate form of working out. It destroys your body not build it up. Imagine going through hell week non stop for years?! It's sad to see common sense has left this generation behind.

I’m at a beginners fitness level, I’m on week 5 of my journey, and taking my time building my form, endurance, and strength. I believe a lot of the cases of Rhabdomyolysis is being caused by out of shape people trying to workout like individuals who are athletes.

No and no lol how do you think athletes become athletes? They excercise and build their body it's the same process that they are going through right now also cross fit isn't the only way to get rhabdomyolysis just pushing your body way too hard jumping into things you aren't used to it can happen to anyone you athletes rhabdo does not discriminate you shouldn't either just becareful and make sure you are hydrated

@@buffalomind6838 theres nothing wrong witu crossfit. Its nothing like nonstop hell week. These people are just pushing their bodies beyond the point they should be pushing, because they have unathletic bodies. If you havent trained in 10 years and youre an old middle aged person you should not start sprinting and supersetting with burpees
