I would definitely still add the seal despite having a bedrug. I did much gravel road driving recently and acquired much dust around the tailgate area and onto items sitting in the back on the bedrug (duffle bags, suitcases, etc). I'm currently looking at what may work to help reduce that gap.

Todd... I just installed an undercover ultra flex tonneau cover on my 23 Ford Maverick. As you may know, it has drain tubes that come out of the bottom of the cover and need to exit somewhere. You showed the rubber grommets on the front bed walls of the Maverick bed. Would that be a good spot to run those tubes into? This works great so long as I'm not draining water into an interior panel. I'm not entirely sure where those holes lead to.

Yes, those holes are perfect for drains. There's just a big void behind them. 😀

Question, does the tailgate sag approximately one inch from the bed height. Hope Ford issues replacements. The cables supports are too long. Some claim this is on purpose. That makes no sense. The bed is already too short so a level tailgate is required.
