Does a larger front mount intercooler actually help a turbo car? Or is it just a gimmick?
In todays video I compare the intake air temperatures in my Nissan GT-R using the stock front mount intercooler, and then comparing it to the AAM Competition S-Line front mount intercooler.
Does a larger intercooler actually help lower intake air temperatures?
Everyone always said you should upgrade the FMIC on a turbo car.
My test results show that it definitely helps keep them in check! Even doing more driving, on a 90 degree day, the IAT's stayed just under 100 degrees! So it is a huge improvement!
