Hi! I'm Lisa, an artisan bag maker in Andalucia, Spain. I've been asked quite a few times if cork fabric needs interfacing or stabilizers, so I thought I'd do a little video on which interfacings will work and which won't, how to apply them to cork fabric, and the effects you get from each type.
If you love sewing with cork fabric, or you would love to give it a try, then join my Facebook group Oh Sew Gecko - Cork Fabric Sewing Corner, the link for the group is below, feel free to join, share your cork fabric creations, chat, and ask questions. Let's all share and learn together about sewing with cork fabric!
There's lots of information out there about cork fabric, this is my opinion from what I know and how I work with cork fabric, I hope it helps a little!
