When fan is kept in low speed, power/energy consumption will be low. Difference in Bill amount is dependent on the unit slab. For eg., If you are consuming around 490 units generally, at 1 speed fr whole two months, incase you use ur fan at 5 speed, your units may go high beyond 500 units. which will eventually increase your EB bill drastically as above 500 units EB slab charges are high. This may not be applicable fr everyone.

Fabulous Video. Tell this for Tube light & LED bulbs also and other electronic equipments. Voltage X Current = Power We have to the word - power cut. But most of the people use the word current cut.

Yes, current is defined as flow of electrons in a circuit. Voltage is the parameter which tends to move the electrons in a circuit. So during power cut there is no flow of electrons in a circuit. So no current flows through the circuit. Obviously people says it as current cut. This is my thought.

Simpler explanation: at higher speed kinetic energy of rotation is higher than K.E @ lower speed (K.E proportional to speed squared). The difference may be small. The energy has to be supplied by electrical socket.

Good video. But my some suggestions for your reading measurement. Your are calculating an apparent power for your analyse using clamp meter. This is not given a expect result. Try to measure the reading in single phase power meter. It's measure the real power with help of power factor then only your analyse will give exact result. Because it's AC network, not a DC.
