I honestly think Joe Daniher suffers from being too gifted. His perceptions of what is feasible are all out of wack because he's the first player of that size who's come from a proper footy pedigree with all the foot skills to match. With him there is probably always the temptation to have a crack at something unorthodox because he himself isn't sure where the ceiling is. He's kind of in the Natanui/Franklin mould but without the breakaway first step to at least make it an uncontested kick, so it ends up looking messy.

What a awful analysis. A game is 4 quarters long. Just because you have, what appears to be an assailable lead, other teams can ride a momentum to win. Case in point , Lions vBlues, Lions kick first 60 point in nearly a half. Baggers outscofe them in second half, everyone criticises Lions for nearly losing. They Lions didn’t lose, but over 4 quarters won. Full forward a week, this time Lions kick down by 44, kick nearly 70 points in a quarter and 8 minutes. Now no one criticises Lions, because some how kicking the bulk of your score in a comeback makes you brilliant. Conclusion A game is 4 quarters long, and if you win in the first half, or last quarter and a bit, you won, and both are the same. Not Lions bad because they nearly lost against blues, but somehow Lions brilliant cause they were out scored but cameback.
