Honest to God, it’s like being tortured. I went 37 months the first time. With complete GP neglect. Had surgery, that worked and 11 years pain free almost. This time 7 months of the most agonizing pain, you don’t know what pain truly is, until you go through this severe of chronic pain. I am not healing, I’ve done everything and only had 5 weeks off work unpaid. Now back at work and can’t take it. 3 years to see a surgeon in Canada let alone get a surgery. Ive been sober for 7 years, I don’t smoke I eat right I swim, I invert, I stretch I walk. I do ice baths. Core resistance exercises. None in excess.

Copper Bisglycinate worked fast for me, 2 days and gone, for me. 2 mg is normal dose, I took it up to about 12 mg for two days and back down to 2mg. It is totally gone as of now (2 weeks). Learned about it on Dr. Berg's KZitem channel.

Magnesium Glycinate - 500 mg (natural anti-inflammatory), along with Omega-3s, and the B-Vitamins. Those options were mentioned on another physical therapy channel.

@@PT4Everybody Sciatica (in my case) was brought on by stress and sitting too long in front of the computer. And then pulling the lawnmower engine 💥 . And yes it was very painful. But not serious, nor lasting. Take care everybody.

Although it can be a challenge to find the right person in your area, I promise you the long term benefit will be worth it. I wish you the best!

I'm sorry to hear this. All I can say is try little walks, plenty of stretching and most importantly (in my case) try to keep your weight down, so not to put unnecessary weight on the pain. Good luck.🙏

hey thanks for this... i have had sciatica since January and I am a 28 year old male. I sustained a 14mm herniation to my l5-s1 disc in a combat sports incident. (mixed martial arts.) I have gotten injections and have done ~5 months of PT but still very much not close to normal. still occasionally have pain all the way down to my foot. cant bend over at all really. any suggestions? I am not looking for pain to leave, but to treat the root cause so i can get back to doing what i love.

Careful going back to what you love, it is are past behavior that put us here. I have an inversion table I use every day to open my vertebrae and stretch my muscles and tendons, I started slowly and now I'm upside down for 10 minutes a day, pain free. Good luck.🤔

I'm going through an episode now.. I find you have to take pain relief what ever suits you... Then I treat my self gently I smother my low back and bottom thigh with tiger balm and really rub it in hard then I use a massage machine.. Then I put a hot water bottle on it that gives me relief Untill I can start to move with less pain.....

@@PT4Everybody Well, my sciatica has reappeared after a 2.75 year absence. It’ll flare up and then go way, and then flare up again and then go away again. When I think it’s gone for good, my lower left hip will get stabbed with that cattle prod again! But in between bouts, if I sit up straight in the chair keeping my lower back arched and if I walk keeping my back straight and upright, the time between bouts become longer. Perhaps that’s what you mean when you say “the way you’re moving could be the root cause of sciatica.”?
