Great little video jas but what's the difference between touch-Less & Auto foam as when you Google this it comes up with Auto Foam is it the same thing but re worded!!🤷🏻♂️😬
@the_jnlt_channel
8 ай бұрын
Thanks for watching 🙏 there isn't much difference in cleaning power tbh, just think that Touchless has been slightly better in my opinion. Touchless is a sugar-based formula that is biodegradable and Autofoam is an alkaline product. That's the main difference tbh. On the test I feel that Touchless is a slightly wetter foam then autofoam, but both have great cleaning power 👍

@@davelawrence594 no worries at all, hopefully that helped. These products can be a little more harder to use anyways as you have to work out all your PIR with them to get the right mix for what you are cleaning.

Big fan of Bilt Hamber auto foam here. Obviously if needed, Korrosol and Auto Wheel too. After spending years valeting, and hobby detailing, I learned not to blast the car with a jetwash before applying snow foam, as it works best if the snow foam is applied to a dry dirty car.
@the_jnlt_channel

Thanks for watching! Yes I've tried many different ways and I do feel if you just apply the products directly to the dirt, it works away better at it with letting the products do the work 👍

If your using a citrus wash, am I right in saying you should only use on the bottom third, why not all over Weekend warrior
@the_jnlt_channel

Hi thanks for watching! Even if you're using a citrus wash / TFR you can spray it all over the car. There is no right or wrong way, what ever works for you. You could do the lower parts of the car only as normally the worst with traffic film. But I would also spray on the top areas as well, to make sure everything is removed. You could have bird poo on the roof and citrus is good at getting it off. I'm hoping this has helped with your question? 👍

If you use an acidic citrus or TFR, then layer alkaline snow foam on top (BH auto foam has a ph of 12 for example), then the two products together actually weaken both products as the PH gets closer to 7 (water). A strong TFR has a ph of 4. So, you get much better results, using the acidic traffic grime removing product first, then rinsing, then applying snow foam, then rinsing. And after that, you might need to use tar remover for any stubburn spots, before going contact wash with the softest mitt you can find.
@the_jnlt_channel
8 ай бұрын
@@DjNikGnashers I agree, I've tried it with both together doesn't work! If I'm putting TFR on the car, I top with a PH neutral snow foam to give better dwell time as we know PH neutral snowfoam don't have much cleaning power. Sometimes I do a TFR first, rinse off and then apply snowfoam after Just for a piece of mind, but not sure if this actually works because I tested it in a video I've got coming Sunday and you will see the results there.

@@the_jnlt_channel We used TFR a lot for service washes (I was a valeter at a dealership). It's great for really grimy cars with no paint protection, but if they are ceramic coated, or even waxed, the TFR can strip a lot if not all, of the protective layer.
@the_jnlt_channel
8 ай бұрын
@@DjNikGnashers The TFR I use in any videos I show it in is non caustic so won't remove any protection added to the car. That's why I use this one as it still does a good job at cleaning but is much safer to use.
