It's good to be able to see a 'car' on test again. Already I'm getting a little, just a little, tired of SUV & trucks, SUV and trucks,.etc. etc.. If I could only find a real car that will tow ( like they used to ) up to 1500 pounds, I'd be happier. Yeah,.. fake exhaust ports are getting to be 'childish', in my opinion. This generation of Jetta is significantly inferior dynamically than the previous gen. Less power with an unnoticeable practical fuel economy increase, and the chassis lets it down the most. They put all of the money into interior appointment and materials. It was a risky move that rid it of any driving flavor in order to sell better to the general public. I'm not sure that panned out for them. If you want a VW get the golf. The GLI is passable of you really want a German sedan at a somewhat lower cost.
