If you saw my last video on the craziness of the URG 1.0 grip compared to the 2.0 URG latex you will probably end up asking yourself how much grip is too much and is there such thing as too much grip on a pair of goalkeeper gloves?
Well thanks to the crew at adidas soccer we have an answer to that question, yes there is a saturation point with grip because it will end up picking up everything on the field including dirt, grime and water that in turn will kill the grip and render the gloves useless or at least kill the very thing you spent a ton of money for GRIP!
So the Adidas Predator Pro PC or Promo Cut rocking the URG 1.0 is probably the exact demonstration of too much grip! If you wanted to make the grip last you would have to wash the glove after every session which would still speed up their tearing and everything else!
For the price the Adidas Pred Pro PC is a gimmick glove that's only good for keepers that can afford a lot of these gloves over the season or just using it for a 2-3 day tournament. If you try to make these 1.0 URG latex gloves last you a season you will be out a few hundred dollars but if you need a glove for a one or two time showing like a big trial or game this is the pair that wont let you down!
