Great review, thanks UKG. I've used TT1 as edc for just a few weeks and it's ok. I rotate with Real Steel Luna which is slimmer in pocket, though the Boker blade seems tougher or less brittle.

Thanks! I reviewed the Luna too and added a thumbstud. I think I prefer the Luna to the TT1.

I was thinking to myself too that the best SAK equivalent to this is the Alox Solo aka Swiss Army 1, then you yourself said it! As to your Climber, a fresh pair of scales would give it a new lease of life, I'm sure you've maintained the knife itself. I have a Climber myself, a great urban EDC. Also I have the Bokerplus Atlas which has the same blade as the Tech Tool 1 but in a more minimalist flat steel handle, it's similar in appearance to the old Otter Mercators so I like that aspect. But I still keep eyeing up the Bokerplus Techtool or the Ruike equivalent, the L11 and may well get one of those too. Definitely a good urban EDC if you pair it up with a small multitool like the Leatherman Squirt PS4 or Nextool Flagship Mini to still have access to bottle opener, screwdrivers etc, or with a full size multitool.

Thanks for sharing! The Boker Plus Altas reminds me a bit of the QSP Penguin. I have not had any experience with the Nextools. Are they serviceable?

Yes. A good alternative to a Swiss Army Knife in my opinion but with a better blade. Thanks for commenting!

Very nice and informative video! I was wondering how rough are the g10 scales? Are they gonna destroy my pockets?

Thank you! Not rough at all. It is a little "grippy" but not rubbery. It will not destroy your pockets!
