The best s’more you will have will be in your oven. Turn your broiler on and put your chocolate on the Graham cracker and put it under broiler for 20-30 seconds; just enough to soften but not melt the chocolate. Then put the marshmallow on the chocolate and back under the broiler until the top of the marshmallow is golden brown. Remove from oven and put the other Graham cracker on and that chocolate and marshmallow will melt together into each other and the texture is amazing.

I can never wait for the marshmallow to golden brown. I just always put a flame to them and wait less than a minute until the flame goes out by itself. That leaves a nice crunchy exterior and a nice melted center in a lot shorter time! Great, now I'm hungry. In my case, all I need as a smores maker is a Bic lighter and a stick (along with the grams, chocolate and marshmallows).

A tip I learned in Girl Guides is to use digestive cookies that have chocolate on one side for making smores by fire. If you are making smores at home you can quickly make them in an oven, or microwave. For a treat I sandwich some mini marshmallows between two chocolate chip cookies, and put it in the microwave for about ten seconds. Just make sure to watch as marshmallows will quickly expand and make a mess if you are not careful.

I think the main issue with this is that it's literally just an induction stove in a plastic base with a cover, so the heat isn't as powerful as something direct like fire. The marshmallows get too soft before the sugar can caramelize, while fire is hot enough to quickly caramelize the sugar on the outside of the marshmallow before the inside is liquid.

It's to increase viewers attention/retention, especially when the video pops up in a recommended feed or the like. I don't remember the specific number, but it's something like a viewer will know whether or not they want to continue watching a video within the first 30 seconds or so. Something like that. Well, for a lot of creators, 30 seconds is their intro, and you haven't even gotten into what the video is about, yet. So, by putting a "preview" in the front of the video, you are doing your best to entice viewers to click on it and/or keep watching, which increases your view time for your channel/video, and overall is better for your metrics and revenue. It's a little more complicated than that, but that's the basic idea.
