If it’s eating, then it’s not rabid. It may still be sick or injured. Don't take any chances.

It's eating, usually not a sign of rabies. Still, don't risk your life approaching them.

The signs of rabies are amazingly varied. In humans, rabies is often (but not always) manifested by swallowing problems. There is therefore only a rough guide with "Possible Symptoms". In case of doubt, only isolation helps to see whether the animal will die in the next few days or euthanasia and biopsy of the brain directly (if there are no viruses in the saliva, a reliable statement can still be made about the brain tissue).

Ear mites/a parasite that effects rabbits. We had a wild rabbit that somehow got into our chicken coop and couldn’t even stand or hop without going all crazy and sideways. A friends wife took it and got some medicine stuff for it and removed some ticks. A week or so later and it was acting normal and the let it go back to the bushes

I kept wanting to tell the other one to get away from it. Not that it would be able to hear me through the screen or understand me lol. It might be infected now too. Be careful when you go out. Do not approach. If you have kids, tell them the same.

It may have an ear infection or brain damage; cause the rabid typically do not try to eat, and are far more reactive and aggressive.

There are two types of rabies manifestation: furious and dumb rabies. It has motor problems of the hind legs and all around and isn’t trying to eat- obsessive licking and grooming is a manifestation of the early stages of rabies.

looks like a territorial rabbit suffering from e cuniculi, a parasite that resides within its ear canal that can cause issues with the rabbits balance. that would explain this rabbits head tilt and constant falling over. if it had rabies, it would probably be seizing and wouldn’t be as alert with its surroundings and what not

the way you can tell if its rabies in a animal is that they would stick there head up to the sky he seems injured but not rabies to calm for that still wouldent go anywhere near it tho

No he does not have rabies. Wild Rabbits are territorial and "claim" land. They will get offended if they see any other Rabbit of the same sex enter their claimed land and will try to ward them away. This rabbit probably saw that other rabbit walk into his "property" and was chasing him away. Rabies usually shows signs of the infected animal jittering and shaking and doing weird unpredictable movements.

It didn't have rabie. Rabbits are naturally terretorial so it was chasing the other rabbit. It may have some other kind of illness, but if its eating and doing normal rabbits stuff,it was fine
