MMO for the win definitely. What I would like to see is for you to do one on Keypads for the other hand, like the Razer Tartarus Pro. It has changed my gaming experience because it has an advantage that is not widely publicized... It allows you to assign TWO functions per key! Pushing the button down halfway gives you one function and pushing the button down the rest of the way gives you another. Why is that a big deal? Because you can use two functions that rarely if ever conflict with each other due to cooldowns. Not a pvp'er but it works amazing in M+.

Wow that’s insane! I was also thinking about doing it to see if any players are using game pads (the keypads with the joysticks)

The real answer is it makes absolutely no difference, and you will be fine using either mmo mouse or keyboard binds once ur used to it. The only reason such alot of people use an mmo mouse is because swifty got us all hooked on them like a damn drug back in wrath/cata, and once you have all your binds on your mouse its annoying to switch away

This is really an indictment on the fact that they put @arena* and @party* macros. This has persally ruined any rated PvP for me. I just don't care enough to put the effort or investment into a mouse just to gain rating.

I'm at 2.1k rating and I don't use any @party and @arena, only 1 macro @player for intervene in 2v2.

Do you just click name plates and tab target to everything constantly? You don’t ever keep a focus target? You’re making things a lot more difficult on yourself. At a minimum I would set a focus macro for storm bolt even if you just leave your focus on the healer the whole round it’s worth it.
@Lenny1305

@@Gamemorewow Yeah I'll do this eventually, as of now I was focusing to learn by reflexes all my keybinds, now that is done, I'll focus on @party and @arena next, if you start learning all at once your learning curve will be very harder. I use tab mostly, I have an addon that doesn't tab any minions, pets, just the players so its easier, I also use shift tab to come back to last tab, I'm good with it, clicking double tab to target the arena2 is like 0.20 mili second longer, so doable until Glad I guess. Sometimes I click the arena plate but its rare. Depends on the class too, I main warrior, the only talents/spell that you want to use on your @arena or @party is Storm Bolt and Intervene, so its like 3 keybinds for SB and 2 for Intervene, so 5 more total. I always have my healer on my focus to keep an eye on him, I always change my macro every match to put the healer's name so I can intervene in 1 click.

@@Gamemorewow I use focus macros. I have many macros with modifiers and conditionals. I just don't have the patience I guess to retrain for @arena for every CC.

@@TheNaqoyqatZ but I'm asking you, with a focus macro you still have to have @focus keybinds, so rather than having to focus someone and then @focus why not just @arena directly? To keep an eye on the focus maybe?

Short answer: no Long answer: no but in more words. If mmo mice were objectively helpful, we would see them used 100% of the time in games with far higher APM requirements like sc2. Sc2 has lots of keybinds, and more overlapping keybinds especially (shift + f5 is one of the combos you have to press) and yet we dont see exclusive usage of mmo mice. If you want to use an mmo mouse, go ahead. But dont try to approve its use as some objectively superior option lol. Its just a choice.

I'm not sure about "advantage" but it is a lot easier to find comfortable keybinds.

I don't like using Ctrl or Alt as keybind modifiers. I'll use Shift 1-5 but having a Logitiech g600 for the past 6 years I could not turn back. I the mouse keybinds for Movement Speed abilities, trinkets, defensive and offensives CD's, random macros.
