I haven’t heard of anyone trying to “cancel” her until this report. Every person on earth has people who like them and people who do not, celebrities are no different. I do notice of late she does remind me of Nicki a lot. I have been a supporter for years I could always see that influence, but she was clearly her own artist, until lately. Then it came to light that she hired some traitors that were former integral members of Nicki’s team. It may seem like a strategic move to some people. She is a fan, and I think it may be the team members that have shady motives, and not necessarily Doja Cat.

As a South African woman, I'll be honest. A LOT of South African men who got to travel the world have kids in other countries that they either haven't met or neglected and never supported. Even right here at home, we have a lot of men who leave their girlfriends pregnant and alone, never meeting their kids or leaving when they're young. Dumisani Dlamini is not the only one and his excuses are just so pathetic. Seems to me like he wanted to make it big in America and bag a white woman and then when nothing worked out, he ran back home where he knew he would find work for sure. It's his country and he's talented. How do you try to bring your family here but then you don't make efforts to see your kids ever again? The man is not broke. We all know him. He's actually a legend here. There are popular actors here married to each other and they have time for their kids. He's a liar.

It’s so sad that Dumisani left his children in America... Doja has been missing that fatherly love I can imagine how bad it made her feel in them teen years hence she left school. And went straight to music as an escape. You can tell that Doja really wants to meet her father irrespective of what he did. I really hope Dumisani fills in the void and explains to her the real reason why he left. There’s always two sides of the story... I really can’t say or judge much because we honestly don’t know the real reason as to why he left. I hope they reunite and spend as much time together and stay in contact. Wooopi said he is a great man because he really is. He stated over and over again that Doja’s grandfather didn’t accept Doja’s dad because he was a really poor African. Her grandfather made sure of the breakup after that had Doja. So it always broke his heart. People must stop assuming things and just do research really. Doja knows this or maybe her mother just won’t tell her the truth. He spoke this waaay back befor her fame... she was probably a toddler then.

He has had fame and resources for her whole life, which meant he could have visited the US or even better, let her meet him in SA, and he's now talking about how he can help her collaborate with artists?! This guy is a whole clown. He is only interested in her now that she is famous. I bet that if she was quietly successful in any other industry, he wouldn't be commenting on her social media or wanting to meet her now. If she forgives him, she better never forget, because given a chance he will break her heart all over again. I wish Doja Cat every success in her career, but if for whatever reason it doesn't progress as she wants it to, I think her father is highly unlikely to be so keen to be in her life.
