Sorry to anyone upset about the old title and thumbnail, I'm an incredibly small niche channel and did not expect this video to blow up the way it did and have the reach its had across the tourney as a whole. I won't make the same mistake in the future if it arises

I'm so happy to see this being such a positive experience for Doki considering how rough the last year have been for her. Brawlpro's team is such a "Bro" team, which strangely feels like the perfect fit for her. All of them are so funny and sarcastic. I hope that Rosemi and Doki are still friends and that she was watching.

Everyone bet on Eskay on Stream only for Doki to take it in the best Tekken she's ever played. You don't fuck with DoKing, because her growth since that first practice match just skyrocketed probably higher than I've seen a Newcomer ever go with only minimal Coaching and 30 Hours. I think it was like 90% on Eskay too.

In the VTuber community, Dokibird's success as an indie VTuber deserves to be as recognized as the creation of All Elite Wrestling in professional wrestling. In both cases, the people involved were written off by the large companies and doubted by some of their peers. In both cases, a gamble was taken and won. In both cases, the big companies in question (NIJISANJI and WWE) kept making own goals. And in both cases, because of popular support, both Dokibird and AEW became successful and *notable*. All I'm saying is...don't bet against the Tomato.

I kinda find it hilarious that ESAM, a professional Smash Bros player, is grouped fighting with all the new casual players. It just goes to show that Smash Bros experience doesn't carry over to games like Street Fighter or Tekken.
@ThatGuyDino
4 ай бұрын
Respectfully I don't know if I agree with that. Coming from Smash and going to Tekken, I feel like things I learned in Smash like spacing and neutral carried over quite well. In my opinion most skills learned in Smash will carry over quite well to other fighting games, but not the other way around. I also feel like Tekken is also just a very different game fundamentally compared to SF and other 2D fighters. At the end of the day these people that are in this group are still fairly new to Tekken itself, so I guess that's why they're grouped. You're right though it is a little silly the a pro fighting game player ended up getting placed in a group of casuals. Not to glaze ESAM or "defend" Smash players or anything, I just wanted to give out my opinion and talk about this, cause I thought it was an interesting comment.

@@ThatGuyDino "most skills learned in Smash will carry over quite well to other fighting games, but not the other way around." I would generally disagree with that. General fighting game experience absolutely carries over to smash and can help a lot, it's just smash has additional axes that you *have* to know to play the game well that you won't learn from trad fighting games. Having a good understanding of spacing, neutral, option coverage, ect is all still going to help you.

Now lets not get ahead of ourselves here 😂😂😂 the coaches are way as in a way higher skill level than any of the tournament players they are GoD Level players who in a given day can give even the likes of Arslan Ash a run for his money (example of this is PhiDX) but Matt is at the creme of the crop of non Tekken focused players
