Appreciate you taking the time to share your experiences! I did Dollar General refer with Werner back in 2019, pay was around 70k I wasn’t a fan of some/most of the DG locations. Backing into so many tight spots in busy parking lots is an accident waiting to happen. I decided it wasn’t worth the risk/money. I’m working local now with FedEx same money or more and I’m home every day without the tight delivery locations.

Great video on showing the dollar general account. My company has dollar general as well. Just seems like touch work for the pay tho. But to each there own. I did furniture unloading for 6 years ltl. Was way easier for better pay. But also I'm in California so we have different pay structure here. I'm to lazy now to do any unloading anymore. How many days off a week do u get ?

I've noticed with Trucking, sometimes you want to do more, but you can't because some companies have strict unloading/loading windows, so you have to wait for your appointment It's why every paycheck is usually different. You should be able to make anywhere from 1K-1.7k a week; with this company

It's hard to say one day I could have 8 hours left on my clock or 5 minutes. It all depends what stores you go to, because some store are a real pain in the ass and take way longer than they should.
@droptozro
2 жыл бұрын
@@levistruckinglifestyle3377 Yeah I believe it. Some stores and some loads would be worse than others depending on the loader and the store manager. Our DC used to be WAY better years ago--it's only gotten worse over the years due to inability to keep workers(especially now). I used to load--but I load well as I possibly can. Just curious since Hogan said since I live really close to the Zanesville DC I could be home daily most of the time in my routes. Only concern would be if that would be enough money to make it up if I made it home daily. So I was curious how your hours were since you said you could never get 2 whole loads in one day. One thing that seems to piss me off is how they ignore the case count and just base pay on your stores and total load. That's crap in my opinion. Some weeks a load could be huge compared to others... toppers mainly. Piece count/RT count would be a more fair way of paying out.

@@levistruckinglifestyle3377 Thanks for showing this information. I work at that DC and yard drive on Fresh side right now. I was shortly on DG Fleet for fresh side but hated the unload over there and backed out of the fleet. DG Fleet isn't hiring for dry side drivers right now til they fill Fresh side needs and Hogan said they would take me for this account when my contract is up with DG. I'm familiar with all the ins and outs of dry side loads and can deal with it I believe so was curious what a person was making here at this account.... before you left and this helped.
