Stella Parton used to babysit me. My father is best friends with Randy Parton. I am very good friends with Dolly's niece Heidi. That is so cool you had that sweet lady babysit you. I agree Stella is a beautiful lady. I saw her in 7 Brides for 7 Brothers. She was so cute in that movie. Those 60s hair styles though, I am glad those are gone. My mom's older sisters had similar styles and their senior pictures are at my grandma's house. I remember looking at those pictures as a kid and wondering if who were those to women with the strange hair. I was born in 72 and I don't remember it anyone with hair like that. I had some strange hair in the 80s though. Thank you for sharing.

My brother went up to the stage & bought her album. Dolly sang so many of her famous songs at that time..."Love Is Like A Butterfly" & "I Will Always Love You". We couldn't believe we were actually seeing her for real & not on TV. ...We saw the 3 Parton sisters perform on the show back then. I haven't seen this since the 4 of us were sitting in the living room way back then. That was everything I thought it would be, just lovely. Such fantastic harmonies when there is a familial bond. Nice to see Dolly keeping Porter Wagoner in check.

I was in school in Galveston and Stella performed the Dolly part with a touring company for “The Best Little Whorehouse.” She was wonderful but got a case of the giggles when she got to the part about the sheriff taking her to Galveston and looking out over the blue, blue waters of the Gulf. Well, we all know the waters there are anything but blue and we all chuckled we started her off. She was delightful.

I'm in proud to be a natural born east Tennessee Native knowing Dolly and her family are as well. I am in music too since 1966 when I was 6 years old. Never made it big though. Just happy to a lover of music 🎵🎶 and Tennessee. Thanks for posting this video. Sounded great. The whole family is talented.

Oh sweet unassuming Cassie, she was nervous of course. But she that's part of her personality. Shy. She was part of a gospel group, such a great lady and family. The Partons are talented and such a great family. Great to see this and you sweet Cassie! 💜
