This Dominican cake, is not only the recipe of a moist, soft and delicious Dominican cake; It's also the design of the flag on the inside. A Pound and a Half Recipe ingredients:
1 1/2 lb Butter
1 1/2 lb White Sugar
1 1/2 lb Flour - 1lb All-Purpose Flour and 1/2 lb Cake Flour
3 Tablespoons Baking Powder
1 1/2 teaspoon Salt
1/2 tablespoon Orange Or Lemon Yellow
18 eggs - 6 Whole Eggs and 12 Egg Yolks
(the 12 Clears reserve them for Sigh)
12 Oz Liquid - 8 ounces Milk or Juice, and 4 ounces of Water
2 Tablespoons Vanilla
2 Tablespoons Dominican Rum
molds:
3 - 10x2 molds (1 each color) 2 molds 8x2 or 8x3 (for the center blank)
Quantity of Batter Used:
Mold 10x2 - Red and Blue - Weigh 2lb 4oz Batter
Mold 10x2 - White - Weigh 1lb 12oz Batter
Mold 8x2 - White - Weigh 1lb Batter
Colors to Used:
Americolor -- Bright White, Super Red and Royal Blue
