Known for the song "Rosie" but "Blue eyes" was equally as good.

I distinctly remember Don Partridge being featured on Top of the Pops in 1968 and I bought his hit single Rosie. I also remember him featured in a Crackerjack Annual, as one of the boys of pop. 😄😎

Don Partridge was a living legend in his own time. Many a young busker was inspired by Don to follow in his footsteps and become one-man-bands themselves. Among his contemporaries Don was.... "THE KING OF ONE-MAN BANDS"

I had the pleasure of meeting Don several times. He inspired several of my busker friends to become one-man bands themselves. He was considered by his one-man band peers to be the father of one-man band buskers. His 12-string guitar was the largest I have ever seen. A good two inches wider than any other. He tuned his guitar two steps lower than normal guitar tuning. That's how he got that big fat sound.
