Kristína and her life motto "Don't adapt life to a wheelchair, but a wheelchair to life" is very inspiring not only for her disabled listeners within the project B. Brown, where she acted as an ambassador, but for the rest of us as well. Her courage, determination and love of life will fill your hearts with admiration for this courageous woman and hopefully move us toward more liberted life. Kristina was born in Trenčianská Tepla, she studied International Trade at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra, and she represented Slovakia in florbal while still in high school. She is a worldwide traveler full of strength, courage and determination, who knows no obstacles and continues to travel despite her handicap. After a skiing accident, the wheelchair became a part of her everyday life, but that didn't stop her at all. On the contrary, she got to know many countries, people and places. She hitchhiked across Central America and with yellow Trabants and on motorcycles from Australia all the way to Bangkok, Thailand. She did not give up traveling even after returning from an adventure expedition with Trabants and continued to hitchhike from Brisbane to Sydney, then at the Czech Republic hitchhiking championships, where she hitchhiked about 5000 km in 14 days across Eastern Europe and continued to travel as part of the Erasmus program on an exchange stay in Spain. This year she represented Slovakia in road paracycling at the European Championships in Austria. Why Kristína: Her life motto "Don't adapt life to a wheelchair, but a wheelchair to life" is very inspiring not only for her disabled listeners within the project B. Brown, where she acted as an ambassador, but for the rest of us as well. Her courage, determination and love of life will fill our hearts with admiration for this courageous woman and I guess will move us to write that story of ours tomorrow.
Rodáčka z Trenčianskej Teplej, vyštudovala Medzinárodný obchod na Slovenskej poľnohospodárskej univerzite v Nitre, a ešte počas strednej reprezentovala Slovensko v pozemnom hokeji. Práve naopak spoznala veľa krajín, ľudí a miest. Stopom prešla centrálnu Ameriku a so žltými trabantami a na motorkách z Austrálie až do Bangkoku v Thajsku. Jej odvaha, odhodlanie a láska k životu naplní naše srdcia obdivom k tejto odvážnej žene a hádam nás posunie k napísaniu toho nášho príbehu zajtrajška.
