You shouldn't aim at incoming birds. Aiming is for rifles. You should point at ducks, geese, or clay targets. The difference between the two is where you're looking. Your visual focus must be on the target whether it's a duck or a clay target at the range. Trust that your brain will take care of where the shotgun is pointed. As soon as you take your eyes off the target, your brain isn't getting the information is needs and your hands and the gun will not be where they need to be.
