"Don't Believe The Hype" made possible by a grant from the Commission for Vocational and Technical Education and Vincennes University (1991). During this time Kimberly Ewing was the Director of Multicultural Services at Vincennes University and she was ask to be the voice and face of this video. Ewing was at Vincennes University from 1988 until the year 2000. Also she's the founder of Today's Black Women and Today's Black Men which is now called Black Males Initiative. Both student organizations are still very active on the campus of Vincennes University and Kimberly Ewing is still a big supporter of Vincennes University.
