He's not upset that she's dead. He's upset that he didn't go to the funeral....so everybody would think he was upset that she was dead.

No episode can rival the subtle brilliance of these 2 extraordinary actors. This is 5 star acting. Shelly Berman is better than excellent! Bravo!

Did anybody hear the old man mention having hard boiled eggs? He said it repeatedly like it was some glamorous meal.....plenty of hard boiled eggs.

It was an inside Jewish joke. When the mourners come back from the cemetery and sit "Shiva" (the 7 days of mourning) at the first meal they eat an egg. Since no one coordinates a bunch of people end up bringing to make sure there are eggs. So if you open the fridge at a Shiva house there are always plenty of eggs in there.

Whilst it is very funny, for me it's the 'dropping' of the $50 bill at Marty Funkhouser's mother's post-funeral line up.

London Districts no no no. The one where Larry saves the drowning Jew at the baptism, then takes credit for stopping a conversion.
