Akhlaq = Mannerisms/etiquette
(Rasulullah (SAW)), Said, 'The best among you in Islam are those with the best manners, so long as they develop a sense of understanding." (Al-Bukhari)
You always need to maintain the appropriate level of Akhlaq when dealing with people. Whether they be strangers, co-workers, close friends or family members and regardless of the nature of the interaction (work, social, play, Dawah etc).
Many people in their zeal and love to give Dawah (especially to their family/Parents), forget this important fundamental, the fundamental of Akhlaq.
However, having Akhlaq does not mean you hide the truth, or stop reminding, or give up on giving Dawah to your family or see evil pass you by and not do or say anything about it. Rather, that is weakness. Akhlaq mean to do all those things, and continue doing them, but do them in the best and most appropriate most wisest way possible.
Akhlaq extends to every aspects of your life. It is a 360 degree element. Maintain Proper Akhlaq/manners in all that you do and you will benefit.
