#Milletyear2023 New to Millets? Don't know how to eat them? Then start with these 2 simple recipes :
1. Millet Curd Rice - Buy one of the small millet packs (Little/Kodo/Barnyard) these 3 are suitable for this recipe. Soak them for 6 hours, and cook it just like how you cook rice. Either cook in an open pot or in a pressure cooker. It does not matter if you add excess water since you anyway need a soft consistency.
Add a nice tempering of ginger, pepper, mustard, and hing and enjoy this delicious millet curd rice with a pickle for adults or papad for kids
2. Millet Dosa - Dosa batter made from rice is common these days. Buy a pack of Ragi flour or Jowar flour and add this to the batter. Mix well. Add some extra water if needed. Add veggies, salt, and coriander leaves and pour into a nice uttapam or crispy dosa.
Enjoy with chutney or sambhar :-)
