We have a saying in Scotland, and it is so correct. "The man (person) who never made a mistake never made anything. " Everyone makes mistakes, and it's more important to learn from the mistake, and to support the person who errs, than to kick yourself or them for having made the error. You've built loads, and you do an excellent job. Keep going the way you are going.

Every builder learns from their experiences and improves exponentially over time. Don't beat yourself up over it. Honesty always prevails and even though I haven't been a customer of yours I bet you would be hard pressed to find a dissatisfied customer. In the end the good builders stand behind their work and fix things if needed otherwise they get a bad name and go out of business. Good job.

Started following your build late summer 2019. I don’t remember all details. Background info is great. I was more interested on the build. I remember the huge issue when had moisture and consulted with ‘spray jones’, if I got that right. Cutting out finished walls to fix, kept me awake, and didn’t live it. You all did great overall. Where’s the dog house build?

I’m in the trades( my business-service repair relining of chimneys) almost 65- my back, knees, elbows and shoulders hurt from when I have to step in and do the work myself-and been there done that😢, get it done before you get too old. Now let someone else( young people) do the work while you still have a body left. I enjoy watching 😊. Developing a good network of subs is essential if you’re going to my money building. As well as experience from learning the hard way. Best wishes for the future.

I have hemmed and hawed and gone back and forth on a specific way to do something; and still realized too late I should have done it differently! I try to find the best in the business and watch them. But ultimately you have to trust your own judgement and move forward.
