Totally nailed it! This past season, I redid my med kit and started carrying a backup release, tarp, and micro spikes. I dropped my favorite release during an antelope stalk. It was a thumb release and my backups were hinge and index releases. Neither draws and anchors like the thumb, so when I bought a new release and determined it was the right one, I immediately bought another of the same! I can lose the original and the backup is setup identical, so I don't miss a beat.

@bowhunter4954 Ok.. a day or 2 ? Here and there ? OR EVERYWHERE !! That shows you could not have possible watched their years of videos or even Google their names . That also tells me you are more than willing to exaggerat your 8 months a year in the woods.

He did say he recommends "if" your going on a certain type trip. Consider his recommendations, pick the ones that suit you & your trip. Leave the rest. Sheeesh.. use your noggins, guys.
