I love your black pegboard! Then all the gorgeous tools! They are soo pretty. I remodeled my pole barn. All white. I even used dry erase board for every wall. It was super shiny and honestly cheap lol very cheap! It just had insulation and it needed some cute walls! I also put it carpet, 86 inch tv and 5 other tvs, leather sectional, vending machines, pool table, darts, Foosball, and tons of other cool stuff. It's gorgeous! Back to what I was saying lol we have TONS of tools and we ended up covering up the brown peg board because it just didn't match and we have an entire wall of storage and like 7 tool boxes. If I thought of painting the peg board black I totally would have done that! Looks gorgeous! Also I have a CAD certification and I've used 3d printers a lot in the classes. However one girl would hog the printer for weeks! Yes, weeks... so I rarely got to use it.

Maybe you can put it under a hot iron for a few second to prevent the filament from melting out like that. I saw my sister and her friends make those similar thing back in the day with those octagonal piece of plastic. As well as that, I’m pretty sure you can add a little bit of plastic cement (a type of glue, usually use in model kit) to secure them since you model them to have tiny holes on the back. Nice idea 👍
@sfdntk

Oh man, that's an awesome idea. Instead of heating it under a toaster oven, I wonder if you'd get a better texture by putting it face down on your printer's hot bed and cranking the temp up. If the filament is cut as flush as possible to avoid smearing or leaking the result should be a much more uniform texture across the whole face, and if you use a textured plate it might look even better.
