A clear lap from a superb day with 70 other MX-5's at Donington.
No chance trying to keep up with Paul Roddison in the ND race car!
Was awesome to meet so many familiar names from various MX-5 groups in person - Can't wait for the next one.
Many thanks to Mazda on Track for organising.
Notes:
- 1L of Castrol 5W-40 consumed on the trip up to Donington and back
- Disks probably need a change as this is their 3rd round of pads...
- Currently using Pagid Dot4 as a temporary fluid, but getting some intermittent fade, might be fluid or disks?
- AD08RS took a beating on the kerbs all day, but came out looking fine!
- Car was feeling a bit understeery - shoud've softened the rear dampers a bit.
- Tried to follow Lee in his NC (stock engine, running Meister CRD with sticky MRF's) for a session, significant difference in the corner speed and his car looked very composed. Stiffer sidewalls on stick tyres seem to reduce body movement well - might give those Avon ZZR's a go next time!
