CHILLLSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. So poignant, Donna's daughter opening up the song, then singing with her mom, with such power!!. AND then the rest of the fam comes out. Rest in peace Donna Summer, at home with the Lord. Your going home took a piece, of so many of us, with you. Thank you for showing me what true greatness looked like.

Because they dressed the backing singers as black diner 'waitresses' and there was some very young children, I thought she'd portrayed the final stage as "normal, average everyone". That was just my first, and only, impression. ymmv? 👍 🙂 Cheers 👍 P. S. If you reply (again) I'll end up re-watching the credits again slowly. 🙄 🙂

My God, I swear I watched this performance literally every day as a young kid. Donna was my first favorite singer, and I had this home video. This was like a ritual for me from the time I was about 7 to 8 years old. Something about the song always enthralled me, and seeing her daughter up on stage with her fascinated me, too. I'm glad that I found a clean copy of the VHS again a few years back (I wore out the first long ago!)
