What a voice... and God blessed smile. Gentle spirit in a world of wolves.

One of my all time favorite songs! He sings love ballads so well and made millions of girls swoon❤️ and so handsome and charming😍 Donny had the 'it' factor. The mania/excitement that went on during the 70's for Donny and the Osmonds will never been seen again. It's so wonderful to be able to re-live those days. Thank you so much for posting this and other great Osmond videos!

When my little sister was 9 years old, back around 1973, she saved up a little money and asked mom and dad to fund the rest of it, so she could join the Donny Osmond fan club ( I think the cost was like $2 or $3 dollars). She sent in the money and the form, and waited and waited and waited...until some weeks later, she got back a check and a note saying she had to be a teenager to join. (I actually think the age was 16, but it could have been 13). I remember my sister just crying her eyes out because they wouldn't let her join the fan club. She quit listening to Donny and all of The Osmond's songs after that because they hurt her feelings so much. By the time she was a teen, Disco was coming around, and she was into various groups both rock and disco. I was a year older than her, and I never really got into disco....most of it was just junk music in my opinion.

I have a sort of similar story, I think....I wanted to see The Osmonds so bad....just so bad when I was about that same age....I got to see The Jackson 5, but never got to see The Osmonds, lol....and then, riding around in my friend's car, on vacation in Reno....Donny was performing there....Omg, I still didn't get to see him.....Jeeps, and I still want to... A friend of mine, who I also like to go on vacations with sometimes, actually saw Joseph and the Technicolor Dreamcoat five times.....sigh....I can't say I haven't seen tons of exciting shows at this point, so I'm not saying 'poor me', or anything like that... but he was my first favorite, for sure, and I never ever got to see him.... I can relate to your sis's experience, definitely.... You're right about Disco Music, absolutely....I never was into it at all.... Not till discovering Bones and MGK, did I ever get into Hip Hop at all, either...Now, it's opened some doors for that...
