The reality is that with most black parents you're expected to be the parent of the house once that paycheck comes in, so most of us we go out because the expense of now staying at home is the same as moving out 😢

Yo! Find the line between low lifestyle and punishing yourself. Don't stay at home if it's punishment. Rather get a place n have that freedom. What staying alone teaches you is life and responsibilities... what am saying is that find that line bcz when u choose not to punish urslf n actually be independent, you strt to grow more as a person n hustle harder, truly strt to understand SBU's advices.

I learned this the hard way the worst part is to recover almost impossible. this goes down to wealth education and lack of support amongst ourselves and family, doesn't matter what skin you're the money language is very important because it almost controls everything you can image nor dream of.

It's also about how much you make as well. Making over 70k after deductions pm qualifies for an apartment that's max 7k pm because some people don't have good lifestyle at home. Home can be draining to some. Others are be financially, emotionally and sexually abused.

I definitely understand and get your point groetman and thank for thses advices much appreciated but now what happens when "Home" doesn't feel like home anymore unnecessary arguments about everything and everything is still expected from when everyone is working but the only person is being milked is you each day n every month Why would one stay in a toxic space that makes depressed and every time you knocking from work off from work u don't feel like going to the same place u use to call home what happens than because most of us are in those situations

In the year 2023 I really think property investment is overrated.The rental business is just too risky, there are two many vacant apartments out there pushing the rent down, interest rates and rates and taxes and levies are going up .Sometimes it is better to avoid taking debt and servicing interest than it is to be chasing this landlord dream. As to staying at home for as long as you can, I 100% agree.I stayed home until I was 31 and things quickly progressed from there ! Vid on the dark side of renting out coming up on my channel soon. Keep well and hustling everybody!!

I disagree with your stance on rental property. If you don't take the important stuff into consideration then yes you'll struggle tenants. I've been in property for 3 years now and I have not struggled yet. You need to know where to buy, what to buy, and how much to buy for (amongst other things) then you'll be fine.
@thusomaila3229

Rental business is also one of the best ways to be able to secure other loans you can use for your other ventures. A lease puts you in a better position with the bank as it's a guaranteed income for a fixed period of time. It's not overated at all. Shelter, transport, food and clothing will always be in demand because they are basic needs. There'll always be a market for them unlike entertainment and so on.

@Kefentse_N 😂 The video was up on the same day I commented and take down as I was not happy with the quality. The gist of it was that the rental space is too risky as the law is more on the tenants side and that the property value is not guaranteed to grow!
