assuming you can KEEP EVERYTHING in between job classes in the 2D HD remake start out with Playboy UNLESS its NOT the ONLY class that can use Whistle in upcoming remake if its the only one that can start with it Black Mage and either the Fighter (or IF the monster tamer) is going to be a default job class in the remake start WITH IT as well. So Playboy (Jester) + White Mage + Fighter/Monster tamer IMHO would be the best default jobs to start the 2D HD remake on its EASY mode you really won't need the the Black Mage just to use the Zoom/warp out of dungeons spell the Hero party member would likely LEARN BOTH Before lv 20.
About that while that spell is useful the games AI in the ALL the previous versions is dumb enough to use it and the other 2 black mage spells the final 2 to 3 USEFUL ones only to have the Monsters resist it IE no damage that's why I'm glad the REMAKE will have Physical skills for the Warrior/fighter class to be able to damage enemies where ATTACK spells are not worth using on.
I only did that 3x Thief class users after learning every spell on the 3 NONE hero's as well as the Player/Merchant skills I'll do the same for the HD remake but it may take like 60 LVS NOT 40 even for all the PHYSICAL skills to be learnt per job class so even if Warrior COULD use Ultima sword from DQ7 in this remake it may take some 60+ levels to DO so.
That would be nice but you still would LOSE 50% of your stats after you switch jobs but EVEN WITH 255 speed the Hagure Metal slimes would likely STILL RUN away on its first turns before you could damage them and yes the Warrior Class in this remake IS likely to LEARN a Critical hit or miss skill to be able to kill them Bedragon LV 38 Sage/Black Mage still takes 2 FULL turns to use it.
