And once again 🇺🇸 proves that the health of its citizens is based on what kind of health insurance they can afford. America is the ONLY country in the developed world that doesn’t have some form of universal access to health care. She says, at least twice that she has great insurance. How sad for the millions of other other American women who don’t

This gave me chills. I was diagnosed at the age of 35, in October of 2018. I am free of stage 2 invasive ductal carcinoma as of May 2020…yet I still struggle to connect with my husband emotionally. We’ve never talked about it. He never went with me to appointments or treatments and I felt very abandoned by that. We’ve been married for 15 1/2 years and have 4 children. A 15 year old son, 12 year old daughter and 9 year old boy/girl twins. You are so blessed to have such a loving supportive partner!!! I know the emotions can be extremely intense but HANG IN THERE!!! Nothing, nada! all I did was find Netflix series of shows that I liked on Netflix and watch them all day like marathon style and then I would watch movies as well. That was my life for two years I slept on a mattress on the living room floor and crawled back and forth from there to the bathroom toilet. I was extremely nauseous constantly. I recently had a lumpectomy for a stage 0 grade 3 dcis. I find myself now with the biggest decision to make as far as further treatment of which I'm not impressed about it all, too many risks and too many potential for new desease, many say do all you can but the treatment out there is like playing russian roulette. I had stage one estrogen positive cancer. No one ever suggested I needed a mastectomy. I Had a lumpectomy with a reduction. Even when it was found that I had a chek2 mutation. I had no lymph node involvement so they were able to give me the Oncotest after the surgery. I ended up needing four rounds of chemo and 20 rounds of radiation. No mention if your wife had the Oncotest. I have to take a estrogen blocker for five to seven years. To hear your wife says she is just avoiding things with estrogen is confusing. She should be on a blocker if she does not want the cancer to return. Yes there is a chance that cancer can return even after a double mastectomy. I hope you all are doing well.

It’s unfortunate that one of the largest misconceptions is that breast cancer is privy to a certain age, more and more findings are showing women between ages 19-29 are being diagnosed with breast cancer, so should check ups should not be a deterrent. It’s also unfortunate she had a medical team reassuring her that it was nothing, instead of saying whatever the results are you overcome and manage if diagnosed. I’m 31 and 33 weeks pregnant. Mentioned to my husband I had a weird lump under my armpit. It started in one then a month or two later there was one in the other armpit. They’ve been there since September. I thought it was something caused by pregnancy. Fast forward to today, finally found the time to get into the ultrasound. I prepare myself for everything but today scared me… the reaction from the radiologist really deeply scared me. She saw larger than normal nodes. Bigger that an active infection or illness going on. I’m scared, waiting for a biopsy and trying to enjoy my growing baby. At this point I wish I would have pushed more once I felt those lumps😢 I wish I had the help to get in quicker. Now I feel like this is a waiting game I shouldn’t have let go on this long. Praying all will go well, praying it’s not cancer. Praying is what is going to help keep me strong and sane. Thank you for sharing. I’m not ready to share this info with the rest of my family because I don’t know what the future holds.

Its sad though..there are some that have stage 0 or 1 and are fine for years..but get recurrences some even after mastectomy's..just because your breast is gone .it doesn't guarantee you won't get a recurrence and end up at stage 4....plus there are alot more mutations besides Brca and TNBC...THEY don't know all of them..some are ones that haven't been researched as much so treatments are harder to decide on...alo more get recurrences later ....its sad...stopping mutations are the key..genetics are a bitch...alot end up metastatic years later..

Reconstruction has its own set of difficulties and complications. There are many Facebook groups of supportive women even specified with my exact diagnosis, that are very encouraging and supportive. Set yourself time limits and try your best not to change your sleep cycle doing research. It’s much harder than it sounds, but it’s so important mentally, not to miss tons of sleep. My cancer was removed May 14, 2020. I had stage to Dr. carcinoma that had spread to my lymph nodes in my armpit and l was barely just over 36 (so I was 37) when diagnosed. Crazy! I actually found the lamp because there was a spot on my outer right breast and I kept pushing it because it hurt and then it started bruising so I went to my doctor and he felt it as well and was concerned and sent me to have a mammogram right away and other imaging. Technology is so high tech now the screening and imaging is 3d and amazing! I will never forget the call saying to call back and after having the same family doctor for 15 years since my first son was born is delivered all of my children he’s a pediatrician and he’s also mine and my husbands doctor and my gynecologist. I knew there was something wrong. He has never asked us to call him back. He typically update things online in an online portal that notifies us. Thank you again Dorey and husband for sharing this most important video. I believe a person can be alive if they go to the Dr. early to get check. Cancer Is serious. I believe some women are afraid to get a mammogram because of the discomfort of pressing on the breast. Please get a mammogram. When it is done and the radiologist explains he did not see anything, a person has peace of mind. All of us are going through many different challenges. I also was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma last May. I chose to have a bilateral mastectomy with nipples removed. I was prepped for implants. 3 months later my journey with implants began. I can tell you the implants don't resemble real breasts. That part was devastating. Now I've had some problems with the left implant tearing the suture line. In a few months I will try again but with the incision on top not underneath. I didn't require any treatment. I'm alright with all I had done. The proper bra will be the answer. Best of luck with your treatment.

Breast cancer is uncommon amongst young women and that most likely explains why your doctor didn't think it was serious. Of all women diagnosed with breast cancer, only four percent are below the age of forty. In most cases of young women finding a lump in their breast it turns out to be nothing serious and that causes doctors to assume the odds, but every now and then, it is serious.

I had Stage 1 Invasive Ductal also, I was on the low end of ever having it: birthed and breastfed four children, no one in my HUGE family has ever had it and I've never been on the pill. I did not find the lump, a fantastic radiologist did. Just had a mastectomy three days ago (could have went with a lumpectomy), I feel blessed it was so small and there will be no chemo. Ladies, anyone can get it! Do not hesitate if you find a lump anywhere on your body. Only regret is not having a double mastectomy but I may go there over the next year. Thank you for sharing your story! The only downside to both at once is revovery but if you have help and invest in a bidet, you should be fine!

Hello Mrs. Tammy! Please, I need clarity. Why regret not having a double Mastectomy? December 16, 2022, changed my life forever. I had the same diagnosis as you. I am planning a Mastectomy of my right breast; my left breast is fine. However, I am considering a double Mastectomy, but I am afraid. Please, help me!! I need all the motivation to move forward with my decision. Thanks in advance

@@andrenefinn704 since I posted that eight months ago I've had the second mastectomy and I'm so damn glad! I am even on both sides, I don't have to try to find a prosthesis to match my other side, that was really a problem getting that right. My second-best was healthy I had an MRI to be sure before the surgery. So I don't have any worries there. Insurance is required to pay for the second breast.

Hi from Norway. I just had a lump in my breast which turned luckily out to be nothing bad. But you are saying over snd over that you are so young, I never hear anyone in Norway say 36 of age id young for this kind og canser. Much youngwe women are disgnosed with breast canser. I have had 3 surgeries in my vagina due to CIN 3 and several positiv HPV, specially HPV16. As well as a surgery on my cervix, due to the HPV16, which to prevent canter to be developed. All of this started exactly 3 years ago and I am still not in the clear, due to a HPV16 positive still. And because of all of this, finding a lump in my breast,I was really cautious. I know that breasts and vaginal issues can be linked. After mammografy and ultrasound, the doctor said it was nothing bad. BUT: both my breasts were full of blood! She had never ever experienced it. Never heard of it, and did not know what to do! So? What was I to do?? This was 1 month ago. (28/1-22) I was to see my doctor last week. She, as well as all medical personnel I have asked, - cannot say why my breasts are full with blood. Now they are starting clump up, I guess as clouthing. I do not know. Nobody to tell me. Nobody trying to find out why. My suggestion is the corona vaccination. 3 in all. Anyway. I do NOT have breast canser!😊❤️ And we have to live through all life throw at us. Stay strong, girl! You have loving and caring family and friends behind you! Be grateful for all positive things! That is my saying. I am alone. But I try every day to find something to be grateful for. There are lots. And if you are in pain, break down the day to hours. Even 30 minutes at a time. You’ll get through the day and night. And tomorrow is tomorrow and you will cope the same way. I wish you a speedy recovery. And I wish all the best for you and your family😊💕

I am estrogen dominant also and I have a lump in my left breast on my rib cage like the size of a Pea and it doesn’t really seem like it’s in breast tissue but it’s near the armpit so it does and I went to the doctor and she kept palpating at palpating said she didn’t think it was anything serious. She thought about doing an ultrasound but then she came to the conclusion that she just wanted to watch it for a month and have me come back. Well I am a mom and I’m busy and I also tend to procrastinate and to be honest it’s kind of terrifying so it’s been like three or four months now and I haven’t gone back and it’s still there. So I’m thankful that you shared this story and that I stumbled upon it because I really think it’s important that I make an appointment as soon as possible. I have this thing I guess it kind of feels like imposter syndrome. Like I’m inconveniencing them going in to get it checked out if it turns out to be nothing, then I feel like I waste their time. I have four kids, I am 36. I breast-fed three out of the four. I am a nurse so you think that I would be more responsible because I generally know better but here I sit

On a Sunday I found a tumor that is the size of a golf ball. Called my doctor on Monday and got mammogram and ultrasound two days later. I got a biopsy two days later. I have invasive metastatic grade 2 ductile carcinoma. The biopsy came back that I have triple positive breast cancer. I just started chemo yesterday. 8 hrs. I was one of the first patients there and the last one to leave. I have to do chemo first to shrink the tumor because it is too large. After that, hopefully the tumor will have been shrunk enough that i maybe able to have a lumpectomy instead of a mastectomy. Then radiation and antibody therapy and another medication for a year. Its a lot !!! But, necessary. I did very well for having such high dosages but through rhe night my body has been on fire on the inside. And my pee smells like its burnt. Just being real fir those of you who are facing this. Its important to know what to expect. I already feel a small shrinking in my breast though and im soooo happy about that !!! As women who are going through this, we have a ling road ahead byt God is woth us and his hand and eyes are upon us. That comforts me to know that !!! My husband is also very supportive and it means the world and makes all the diffyin the world. Im so sorry some of you women had to fave this alone. I know its hard on a man too but shane on them for withholding their strength from you. I pray their eyes would be opened to see how string they can truly be for you and that they will change and help you slay these dragons that must be slain !!!! God be with this couple and me and my husband and all of you ladies who are covered by a man... But especially to those of you who must face this battle alone !!! May God give you HIS strength to slay these dragons !!! In Jesus Name Amen 🙏🙏🙌💪💪

I was diagnosed with grade1 invasive Ductal carcinoma last September… no brca mutation no cancer in the family and I’m 39 for healthy and active. No signs no symptoms nothing just went for a general health check. By gods grace it was caught very early I had a lumpectomy 4 weeks of radiotherapy and I’m now on Tamoxifen. The whole time all I could think of was my kids it wasn’t fear for me but what would happen to my kids. I’m ok now physically I never had any side effects but psychologically it has shaken me to the core. I pray for you and all of you who are newly diagnosed you will get through it 🙏🏽

I had a masectomy on the left side in 2022 because I was diagnosed with Pleomorphic Lobular Carcinoma. It was stage 2 and invasive!!! I am blessed that I didn't need chemotherapy only surgery and radiation. Fast forward March of this year by choice I had the right one removed. I know God is in control of our lives no matter how well you eat or exercise. If its your time to go then you will definitely go so be grateful whenever he wakes you up, walk in Love dont hold grudges and live life to the fullest. I just lost an Auntie to cancer that was a recurrence after 20 years. She left in good spirits because she already knew her time was up but she was okay with that.

i have been having breast issues for 3 years or so but I can definitely tell you I hate hearing it’s probably nothing or probably benign and then we have to get to biopsies and now more lumps and breast calcifications all in the same area. I understand it actually may nor be cancer but cant we just say lets double check cause you never know. There are some people that will take it’s probably nothing and probably benign and run with that and never actually check due to financial issues.
