Sunset comes being aimlessly in the wind Face up myself I feel shy Blow my top and keep shouting out Count the days by the pain With anger welling up The road I ran through like mad Hard and being lost in a night Pity myself for those sacrifices made Sold-out again and again On days I almost went down Can't help being vexed But try to live as hard as I can Oh road I pick was right I take the long way round Wounded body as I'm watching it I just can little smile again People who forgave me They make me strong not in words Their eyes believed in me To get up and again and again Those eyes give me the power to fight Blow my top and keep shouting out Count the days by the pain With anger welling up The road I ran through like mad Sold-out again and again On days I almost went down Can't help being vexed But try to live as hard as I can Things don’t turn out as we always want Life ain't as bad as we sometime think Just as we want that's the way Oh road I pick was right I take the long way round Wounded body as I'm watching it I just can little smile again People who forgave me They make me strong not in words Their eyes believed in me To get up and again and again Those eyes give me the power to fight The sky in the west I'm facing myself in slowly melting

This is absolutely KILLER! I'm very happy to have seen this. Yes - it's very similar to Yngwie's performances. It's hard not to mention, really. But it's very different if you're analyzing the composition and note choice. Malmsteen's harmonic minor sounds more conventional, I guess - but Norifumi's use of the same scale sounds like full-blown Castlevania.

In case anyone knows, I've been searching for this old japanese rock song I heard and the band or song name was something like Death Circus Roll or Rock n Roll Circus or something like that... Saw it once on KZitem randomly years ago and now I can't find it anymore. Shot in the dark but maybe someone knows

Norifumi Shima is a skillful guitarrist, but at the end is just another Blackmore-Malmsteen clone.

Malmsteen and Shima both are inspired and born from Blackmore. It's no bad thing!!

norifumi is good but ritchie blackmore is the best guitarist!!!!
Shima is not in the same league with people like Syu or even Akira Takasaki.

+COTTERO Well, that is debatable (or not), however IMHO his picking is more effortless, his articulation more fluid and his tone definitely more organic and less distorted when soloing... That said, they ALL rock anyhow! :) (btw, U might also want to check out Takayoshi Ohmura and Katsu Ohta)
